Innovative down to the last detail

• The inverter is not the only reason for the high efficiency of the Compress 6000AW. Many other innovations and improvements play their part in ensuring convenient and reliable operation in all seasons. Bosch has patented the following innovations of the Compress 6000 AW:
• Intelligent flexible defrosting and fan speed control: unlike conventional air-to-water heat pumps, the Compress 6000 AW does not need defrosting at outdoor temperatures below 5 °C. This ensures considerable energy savings and additional user comfort.
• Quiet operation when switching to DHW heating: no “creaking” noises in the pipes, because with the Compress 6000 AW no cold water flows through hot pipes.
• High operational reliability even in extreme conditions thanks to the drain tray blockage alarm: sensors give early warning if leaves or other materials have collected in the drain tray.
• Additional energy savings thanks to the prevention of water hammer: when it is cold outside, the heat pump automatically warms up in preparation for start-up. No heating cable is needed for the unit

Space-saving, light and quiet

Thanks to the compact design of the new internal structure made of special EPP material (expanded polypropylene particle foam, suitable for recycling), the outdoor unit of the Compress 6000 AW is considerably lighter than previous conventional solutions. This makes both installation and servicing easier. It is much easier to find a place for the Compress 6000 AW than you think. With its compact dimensions it takes up very little space. The EPP construction makes it not only light but also remarkably quiet. There is also a “silent mode” that reduces operating noise by a further 3 dB(A). The Compress 6000 AW is quieter than modern dishwashers!

Energy efficiency in every detail

Our new air-to-water heat pump is completely new - from start to finish. Without making any compromises, we combined the most modern energy-efficient components with intelligent electronics for maximum effect. For example, for peak efficiency the heat pump uses not only the energy from the air, but also the heat given off by the electronic components!

All points covered

Depending on the required output, all four versions of the indoor unit are suitable as a standalone heating system for DHW heating and central heating. The indoor units are equipped with an integrated 9-kilowatt heater for stepwise activation (2-4-6-9 kW) when needed, to support the heat pump efficiently. Depending on its version, the indoor unit can alternatively be connected to an existing gas boiler. Whatever combination you choose - the Bosch Compress 6000 AW will reliably supply your home with heat and DHW.

Intelligent cooling for your home

On hot days you can also use the innovative heat pump to cool your home. To prevent large energy losses when switching from DHW production to
cooling, conventional heat pumps need an intermediate cylinder. In contrast, the Compress 6000 AW comes with an integral cylinder, so there is no need for an intermediate one.

Fully automatic heating and cooling

Although the Compress 6000 AW draws energy from the air, it can meet all the heat needs of your home economically and ecologically, even at low temperatures of minus 20 °C. When working with an underfloor or convector heating system, the air-to-water heat pump is also designed as standard for active cooling.
