Chimney Exhaust Pipe Ø180

The Ø180 chimney section is a straight element (pipe) made of stainless steel for building a single-wall chimney or flue with a diameter of 180 mm. It is available in three lengths so you can make up the required chimney height.

Technometal Hellas is a Greek manufacturer of chimney systems (Lagadas, near Thessaloniki, Greece). The company produces its single-wall chimney elements (TechnoGos 304 CE series) from AISI 304 (1.4301) stainless steel with a thickness of 0.40 or 0.50 mm, CE marked according to EN 1856-1 and EN 1856-2. According to the manufacturer, the single-wall system is intended for fireplaces, stoves, oil, pellet and gas boilers, withstands a continuous temperature of up to 400°C (up to 200°C when using a thermo-silicone sealant) and is recommended for indoor installation.

How it connects:

Each section has a male and female end. For Technometal Hellas straight elements of the TechnoGos series the overlap when connecting is 60 mm, so the effective length of a 1 m element is 940 mm, of a 0.5 m element – 440 mm, and of a 0.25 m element – 190 mm.

Technical specifications:

• Type: straight chimney section, single-wall
• Diameter: Ø180 mm
• Material: stainless steel
• Manufacturer: Technometal Hellas (Greece)

Available sizes:

• 1 m – code 4401180
• 0.5 m – code 4402180
• 0.25 m – code 4403180

The elements are connected via a male and female end. If you use a thermo-silicone sealant (not included), it is applied to the male end. The manufacturer recommends securing every joint between elements with a clamp. The choice of diameter, steel and thickness depends on the appliance and fuel – for wood in a closed fireplace, non-certified pellets and solid fuel the manufacturer recommends AISI 316L with a thickness of 0.50 mm. Installation must be carried out by a specialist.
